This release adds a DPad/Analog swap function on popular request as well as provides a fix for analog sticks that completely deny to respond in one or two directions, which is caused by the stick returning too small values even when pulled to the extremes. You now also can change the configuration for the primary plugin button, which was hardcoded to the NOTE button till now. The download also includes a 3.71 compatible (and only!) version of the plugin, so make sure you use the correct one. For 3.71 with 1.5 kernel patch you need both versions actually to make the plugin work in 1.5 homebrew – see the readme for instructions.
PS: I also started writing a FAQ.txt so if you have any questions, be sure to read that FIRST!

I am currently using this fantastic plugin on my 3.90m33-3 Phat PSP, it works fine in games, but is not enabled in the XMB. I have no reason to lie about it working or not. In a few previous attempts i remember having my PSP freeze on boot, but since an update and a theme change everything works well proper! My great THANKS go out for this awesome plugin!

u guys use keycleaner and check ur last key mine was corrupted and i fixed it and now it works perfect so try that it should work

ukpspdude do u have a broken or not working joystick if its not working try keycleaner it might do the trick
Shut the f**k up mike. KeyCleaner will not fix compatibility issues. It only fixes the your PSP IDStorage. If messed up your IDStorage with KeyCleaner, you simply break some PSP functionalities and can only be fixed with a NAND dump or send back Sony.
So quit telling people to brick their PSP.
Anyway, use joysens.prx instead of joysens371.prx (this is for CFW 3.71 only).
I use CFW 3.90 and joysens works great. Thanks Raphael you’re my personal hero. It seems to be one of the greatest and most important plugins ever
anyomonous u dont have to be rude im not trying to tell ppl to brick there psps i used it and fixed my idstorage and now my joy stick works fine if u dont believe THATS UR PROBLEM like i said i used it just fine and now my psp is fully functional ur just being a ass because u didnt figure it out

if u read the instructions to the key cleaner u wont brick it if u dont read them then thats ur problem

thank you, great job. this plugin works really fine but one more thing would be perfect… can you add a swap for analog with the x-o-triangle-square buttons? games like call of duty doesn’t let you play with analog as the first person look… and if you change the note button with something like L+note, it will be less annoying…

yes it does work in 4.01m33-2 with 1.50 kernal just tested i use it for the sensitivity issue i have works great and joysens works in 3.90m33-3 the other revisions make it act up

i use the regular joysens.prx and i put it in all texts namingly vsh game game150 and pops text documents and i only activate vsh and game and for some reason and thats pretty much it that i use of that plugin
Hi, this is a pretty useful homebrew, but it doesn’t seem to work on my PSP (just updated to 4.01 m33-2) can some confirm if it works on this FW or could you please create an update so it works, I’m desperate to fix this problem and get back to gaming. Bye.:D

well what i did to get it working is i moved all my files off my memory stick to my computer then i formated the memory stick then went into recovery and formatted my flash1 drive and reset all setting which is a option in the advanced menu in recovery mode then i restored default settings regularly then added all my stuff onto my memory stick again then i added joysens.prx then added them to text named game and vsh then i was done and it worked if it doesnt work for u there might be something wrong with ur psp
This may be old news, but on 3.90m33-3, joysens.prx works with the fatsmod v2. VSH & on GAME.
I tried using it before that and it didn’t work. It just froze up and shutdown.
This was tested on a PSP-S.
I can confirm its working on the latest firmware for phat, 4.01 M33-2.
How to definately get it working:
1. Backup all your save data
2. Do a complete re-install, formatting the memory card and flash1.
3. Install the 1.50 add-on.
4. Install the 1.50 version of joysens
5. Restore your data.
Best to reinstall other prx’s that you use, rather than copying them back.
