JoySens 1.2 for 3.71 (test release)
I found time today to update my second PSP to 3.71M33 and test a method for making JoySens 1.2 available under that firmware. For now it seems to work fine, but it is next to untested atm, so I cannot yet guarantee it to work 100%.
At least this should give the 3.71 users something to play with for the time being. I’m currently working (when I find a little time every then and when) on JoySens 1.3 which will provide some new features, like a fix for analog sticks which don’t even scale the stick range correctly (getting results < 127 or > -127 even when analog stick is pushed to the extents).

cannot be used with homebrew?
If I enabled joysens in game150.txt, then when I start a homebrew which uses the joystick, psp freezes at sony’s splash for a few seconds, then it shuts down.
No problem with games and homebrews which don’t use joystick.

I was wrong. The key was not whether or not homebrew uses analog stick, but homebrew is 1.5 or 3.xx. All the 3.xx homebrews are OK with joysens even if they use the analog stick. 1.5 homebrews freeze at the startup splash.

@ppyyf: I’ll try to research that problem and see if I can replicate it.

@ppyyf: I hope you already noticed the solution for your problem that I brought up with the 1.3 release - you need both versions of the plugin and activate the normal version in the game150.txt file (which is responsible for all homebrew running with 1.5 kernel).
