JoySens 1.01 - working for 3.40 OE and up!
Only a couple of hours after the original release I finally managed to get this plugin working on custom firmwares 3.40 OE and up (yes, M33 ones too).
The problem was that this plugin requires kernel mode to hook the controller functions, but 3.40 and higher firmware has additional security checks that avoids kernel mode modules to load if they link to user mode functions. By avoiding that the plugin now works on those firmwares too.

Just a quick thanks for the app. Just was wondering where to put the two files. I’m running M33 and i dont have a seplugins folder. should i just make one and copy the stuff into it?

@Drdre74: Yes, create a folder SEPLUGINS, copy the files over and also create two .txt files in that folder named game.txt and vsh.txt. Those should contain the line
ms0:/SEPLUGINS/joysens.prx
With that, reboot into recovery menu and enable the plugin in game and/or VSH.

I have an idea for your plugin , maby have a switch incorperated so that when in a game all you have to do is hold the button down and use the thumb stick at the same time so in a shooter game you can have more slower percise shooting but when you let the button go its the oppisite

The only problem with that is to find a good button that you can easily press while still being able to press other buttons (for shooting/etc.) and don’t interfere with the game mechanics. Hence why something like the basic buttons most likely won’t work.
What you can do though is map the enable/disable function to something other than select, maybe LTRIGGER, so in the game you press NOTE+LTRIGGER and the plugin is active… then when the high-precision area is over press NOTE+LTRIGGER again and the plugin is inactive.
I’m also thinking about a function to switch between different configurations, which might be a better solution in some cases.
